Just seeing to GEorge, but will put a proper one on in an hour or so but in a nutshell: It was very good. The boys rocked the arse off London. I sang. I rocked. George asked me to stop screaming in his ear! Then it was over all too soon and we came home.

Right. George is all sorted! We left home about half eleven, George sitting in the back pleading to be dropped off at his Dad's instead of being subjected to a Quo gig! We arrived at London ExCel about 2pm. Wandered round the motor show. Met the police bomd dogs, looked at all the swish cars. George loves the colour orange and so his particular favourites were the bright orange Aston Martin, Morgan and Hummer. Lots of pics were taken. We went to the top gear stand but no sign of the Hamster or any of the others! We went outside and watched the motor boat displays, Landrovers, camper vans, Disney Cars, we saw McQueen yay! and the ice cream van! Then about half six we wandered over to join the queue for the gig. We chatted to a few people, saw Crappy and some other familiar faces, and lots of new ones. Had a big conflab about who was gonna stand at teh front and who was gonna sit with George on the disabled platform. In the end I made an executive decision and stayed with George as I'd only have spent the whole gig worrying about him. We sat at the front of the platform and although we were at the back of the venue it was very small and we had a splendid view. And there were video screens so that was really cool. The sound was absolutley fantastic and the boys were on form. Now I'm rubbish at the set list cos I get so excited I can never remember but they opened with Caroline, then played The Wanderer. In no particular order was WYW, Down DOwn, Hold Ya Back, Creepin', Oriental, Mystery song, Paper Plane, BFM, Rain, WYP, Red SKy, Juniors Wailing. THe encore was RAOTW, the one I can never remebner the name of but he sings "If ya wanna dance with me" and Johnny B Goode. It's the first time I've seen them since Wembley, so I was needing my Quo fix. They were amazing as they always are. green guitar man seemed on good form. Matt's drum solo in ITAN was really really good. Gerdundula wasn't played. I liked it, we liked the lights, we liked the set and we LOVED the boys! No-one rocks me like Quo can!!!!

Oi i remembered my coat this time right left home at 7am friday morning to head to the airport. pretty straight forward. got into the toon airport and headed by metro to the Monument station. i was told that the hotel was very close to the station and the lady at the information desk at the airport marked it on a map for me walked up and down the street they said it was on but nothing. asked for directions and ended up at st james park...asked for more directions and ended up at the chinese arch. more directions ended up by central station. after more than 3 hours, and a crying session in a shopping centre i finally managed to get directions good enough to find my way the hotel was nice but hot so had to keep the window open which meant it was very very noisy. didn't get much sleep. had a crappy breakfast the next morning. lost my phone charger so had to go buy one of those and some more phone credit and off i set like the intrepid explorer in search of Silver link travelodge. arrived about 12 and was charged a tenner for early check in had a shower and a kip and waited for everyone to arrive. watched episode number 9 of crocodle shoes and went for food. sat around and had a drink with the lovely quo heads and off we set about 8pm..... hot wouldn't even be the word to describe it...hellish maybe. don't ask me about the setlist coz i don't pay too much attention to these things. but it was rocking from the get go...don't ask me how OTL didn't drop dead on that stage from the heat. dode started using my foot as a volume peddle and it quickly esculated into all out war fare on the floor with the winner being FFF with his big clompy boots. nearly took me toe off. and that stupid blow up guitar that FFF kept hitting people in the head with. and giving dave ideas for doctored photos for me there were a few Cigarette breaks required during the night and really it was just an excuse to get some air and cool down in fairness i didn't have a whole lot to drink but there were a few that were a bit tipsy not naming anyone like we got out of there about 12.45 and headed back to the hotel. none of us slept very well because there were lots on hen and stag parties staying at the hotel. i was up at 7 and waited around for everyone. headed into the city centre and chilled out for a while back to the airport and eventually got home after a slight delay.
